April Ross

April Ross, a beach volleyball player from the United States, is among a select category of females who have won medals in several Olympics. She is set to compete in Tokyo for her 3rd Olympic medal with Alix Klineman, who is a first-time Olympian. Ross is determined to earn more than her initial Olympic medal. As she is 39, it may be her final chance. She is still confident, however. Ross told NBC Boston that if they play their best, and even play well, she believes the team will be able to win the gold medal. Also, I'll take some luck. Ross was born in 1982 in Costa Mesa California where she lived with her parents and her sister. In Newport Harbor High School, she played in a variety of sports. Along with indoor volleyball, she ran track and basketball in her pre-college days. She was clearly the best at the sport of indoor volleyball. In her high school volleyball career in her university biography she played as a middle-blocker, outside-hitter and setter. Gatorade Circle Of Champions named her the National Player of 1999. Also, she won the 1999 Orange County Athlete of the Award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman formed the partnership in 2017, However, Ross was a beach scene celebrity for a long time prior to. She's won big competitions with different players. The other is an icon of the volleyball world. Jennifer Kessy coached her from 2007 through the year 2013. Along together with Kessy, Ross won a World Title in 2009 when she competed internationally. They took home a Silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Misty May Treanor and Kerri Jennings the legendary team that won the 2012 Olympic Games in London, beat them out to win the gold. Ross Jennings became Walsh Jennings partner in fate as Maytreanor resigned. In 2016, the duo were awarded bronze medals at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross was a student athlete for USC Trojans before starting her professional career. She played during high school and in before hitting the beach as a professional. Her career was a success during her time in college. In 2000, she was named Pac-10 Freshman as well as NCAA Freshman Of The Year and an All-American. The team also saw her help in helping the Trojans get to into the Final Four. The second season of her career, she experienced a terrible personal tragedy, but managed to earn the honor of being named an All-American. Through the two years she played for the Trojans, she helped them achieve consecutive championships. The individual accomplishments of her have established her place as a legendary volleyball player. She won the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the best female college player. Ross was a student of international relations at USC. Margie Ross was never able to witness her daughter's climb to fame as a beach volleyball player. Ross's mother died of breast carcinoma in 2001. Ross had just become an undergraduate student in the second year at USC. But, she will always remember her deceased parent close and close. Margie has always been a source of inspiration for her, both on and off the beach.
