Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents for the town where she was raised in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father is from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder considers herself Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children to Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. They lived in a place without electricity. The books on television was her only source of entertainment to pass the time. Eventually, she was a voracious reader. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 old. Ryder was bullied in her high school. Her professional acting, she believed that it would aid her. Unfortunately that didn't come to happen. Still, she kept chasing her dreams. Her big break occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful characters in numerous films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her performance on The Age of Innocence (1993).
